Frequently Asked Questions General Do you allow smoking on property? In the rooms? We do not allow smoking in the rooms. Guests at our rooftop bar The Nest are permitted to smoke on the terrace and there is a designated smoking area outside the front of the hotel. Do you allow photography and videography? Absolutely however we kindly ask that other guests aren’t disturbed during your Instagram endeavours. Can I send a package to the hotel? Of course! Our lovely front desk team will happily store it for your arrival, or deliver it straight to your room if you are in house. Do you have a mobile app? Yes, our Treehouse app is available for iPhone and Android users and is packed with all the information that you will need during your stay. From contacting the front desk and ordering room service, to planning interesting things to do during your stay. What languages are spoken by staff at the hotel? We have a very diverse team and many languages are spoken at Treehouse London including French, Spanish and Italian. Does your hotel have air conditioning? Yes all rooms have air conditioning. To ensure the safety and health of our guests, rooms are sanitized using both cleaning agents and activated oxygen sanitizing agents, and Housekeeping use UV Ozone machines to disinfect rooms after cleaning. We have AirB UV installed in the restaurant to improve air quality by killing any harmful bacteria on the surfaces and in the air. The team also have UV wands for small surfaces and item disinfection i.e door handles, remote controls, phones, desks etc. Housekeeping are tasked to continuously monitor and clean surfaces and high touch point areas. What steps are you taking to practice safety at the hotel? Hand sanitizer is available in all public and team spaces. High-touch points such as furniture, door handles, and elevators are sanitized multiple times per day, and we continue to encourage social distancing to ensure everyone’s comfort and safety. We ask that guests adhere to government guidelines in regards to masks. Is onsite COVID-19 testing available? No, however we can arrange PCR tests on behalf of our guests. Is proof of vaccination required? Proof isn’t required as per government guidelines. Are face masks required? As per government guidance our team and guests are not required to wear facemasks. Sustainability What are the hotel’s sustainable practices? We have filtered water stations on all the guest room floors, we discourage single-use items, and all of our menus are printed on recycled paper. We have real-time energy and water management systems and a recycling and composting infrastructure. We like to give a second life to pre-loved items, and all the furniture is the nest is found vintage items. We also have a verdant living wall on the Nest terrace which provides a feeding banquet for the bees and creates a pollinator pathway across the city. Treehouse London are looking to achieve Green Key accreditation by the end of 2024. Does the hotel have water-efficient faucets, toilets, or showers? Yes we do. Does the hotel have a towel or linen reuse program? Yes, the hotel allows for eco friendly cleaning. If towels are hung in the bathroom they will not be changed. Does the hotel have a recycling program? Yes we do. Does the hotel have a food waste reduction program? Yes, we work closely with FoodPrint to reduce food waste to a maximum. Does the hotel have a soap or toiletry donation program? No, the hotel does not as we have a refill programme in place for all our hand wash, soap, shampoo, and conditioner. The hotel can be accessed by taxi, or by walking from a tube station. The closest tube station is Oxford Circus which is around a 7 minute walk. What is the closest airport? The closest airport is London Heathrow. How can I arrange transportation from the airport? How much will it cost? The Heathrow Express is a 15 minute train journey into Paddington Station and costs around £40 and can be purchased from www.heathrowexpress.com. From Paddington you can take the Bakerloo line to Oxford Circus, or take a 10 minute taxi to the hotel. Do you have parking? How much is parking? There is a drop off bay outside the hotel, and the closest car park is Q Park on Cavendish Square (a 5 minute walk away) www.q-park.co.uk/en-gb/cities/london/oxford-street. Do you have electric car charging on-site? No What is the closest public transportation? Oxford Circus tube station is around a 7 minute walk from the hotel. Do you have a shuttle or house car? How far will it take me? No Do you have bike rentals? Not at the hotel however there are Santander bikes available to rent locally. Can I walk to places nearby? Treehouse is centrally located and lots of London’s hotspots and popular streets are walkable. Reservations I booked on a website other than the hotel website and need to change to my reservation. How do I do this? For all bookings made on other websites than our own, we please ask you to contact the websites in question directly to amend your reservation. Absolutely yes, you will need to email us at [email protected] and request us to send you a payment link using our protected online payment system called Celopay. What is your guarantee/deposit policy? We require a debit or credit card in order to guarantee all bookings. Upon check-in, a method of payment for the room rate and the incidentals will be requested and required to proceed What is your cancellation policy? Our cancellation policy is 24h before the day of arrival. What does the [destination/resort/amenity] fee include? We do not have destination/resort/amenity fees in the United Kingdom What are the check-in and check-out times? The guaranteed check-in time is 15:00 and the check-out time is 11:00. Can I check-in early? This is very much subject to availability. We recommend booking the room from the night before to guarantee any early check-in. Can I get late check-out? Late check-outs are subject to availability on the day of departure. Add-ons can be purchased on our website when making the bookings to guarantee late check-outs. Can I store my luggage before check-in or after check-out? Absolutely of course, we have a secure luggage room where we can store luggage for our guests Is my ID/passport required at check-in? Yes indeed, an ID/passport will be requested upon check-in for verification of identity. What is the minimum age to check into a room? The minimum age to check-in is 18 years old. Do you have an early departure fee? We do have an early departure fee which applies if we are not advised more than 24 hours in advance. Is breakfast included? Some of our rates include breakfast, some do not. This is very much dependent on your personal booking! What forms of payment are accepted to pay for my room? Yes indeed, we require a deposit of £120 per night per room for any incidentals. How can the incidental deposit be made? The incidental deposit can be made in cash or using a credit or debit card. The deposit can be made with CC or cash The incidental deposit can take between 3-5 working days to be released, however, this is very much dependent on your individual bank. All of our rooms have incredible views over the city looking out to the East and West. We also have rooms with double aspect looking to the South East. Do you have rooms with a balcony or terrace? They do not. However we have a fabulous roof terrace at The Nest. Do you have rooms with two beds? We do. Our Lookout Twin rooms include two single beds. Do you have rooms that have a bathtub? Our five Clubhouse Suite’s all have gorgeous roll-top copper bathtubs in. Is the bathroom private from the rest of the hotel room? The bathroom is private from the rest of the room, with the exception of the Clubhouse Suites as the rolltop bath is in the bedroom. Do you offer allergy-free rooms? We offer hypoallergenic bedding. However well behaved dogs are allowed in The Nest on a lead. Are there pet stores nearby? Yes there are some local pet friendly restaurants – including Riding House Café which is directly behind the hotel. Are there dog parks nearby? We have a DJ in Madera and The Nest, and there is sometimes live music in The Nest. Do you have any special events? We have special events, dinners and DJs performing. Private Events, Meetings & Weddings Do you have event and meeting spaces? Both Madera and The Nest can be hired exclusively. We also have a smaller back room in Madera that can be used for events.
